In the Los Angeles underground, you can't match the energy of Nexus NYE...and the randomness is also unparalleled! This is the midnight set I played in the big room, one of the more bangin' electro sets I'd busted in a while. Little did I know the night would end with my last song as a water pipe burst, ushering the party to a rather abrupt end. Don't miss the Black 22s and Barak Humphrey on the bonus material at the end of my set as they announce the impending flood and evacuation! Memorable to say the least...

In the past year or so, there have been few performers who can match the pace of the Black 22s. When they are not rockin' dancefloors, they are organizing the party. The duo made up of J-Labs and Lou E. Bagels tends to dish out servings of eclectic bangin beats that range form drum and bass and dubstep to electro and booty house. This peak hour set from the Dustination 2011 Halloween event is no exception, as they worked the costumed dancers into a freak night frenzy.

When Mark Zabala and DarkMatter hit the decks as a tag team, most of the crowd was expecting a hard hitting set. And the artful way these cats weave together a fine electro breaks set shows the way forward for the genres. It was a memorable set at an unforgettable halloween event in the dusty hills above Los Angeles, where art and illusion mingled effortlessly. It was Dustination 2011, and the Shadow Council rocked it. I'm pleased to present this banger to you this time on Radio FatFinger. Get shadowy.

When I got the invitation to DJ at X Games in Los Angeles, I knew it was an opportunity to bust out some of the great music that I rarely find the right time to play. But it's music I really love, and enjoy mixing so much! My musical tastes are broad, and they include rock, indie, and great vocals. This mix features some of the best indie dance tracks I've collected over the past couple of years, and really bad-ass electro remixes of some rock, pop and alternative tunes. It's a textured and deep yet bangin' set that I hope will delight many music connoisseurs.

Michael Insane is a DJ for the real party people, because clearly his only ambition is to thoroughly rock your soul and bless the air around you with perfect frequencies! From the moment he hits the decks until he's got the place in a blurry frenzy, Mike slings a non-stop mix of electro house bangers that are sure to please dancers and true music lovers. This is a live set he laid down at Nexus NYE 2011 earlier this year. Catch the Ninja Skillz master at Plump on July 23rd! Info: www.projectalma.org

In this edition of the program, we bring you a fat, funky breaks set from LA favorites, Saadhu and Loomer of Bass Ritual. This set was recorded live as they were getting the main room rockin' at Nexus NYE 2011, playing us out of 2010! These vets of the decks have enough bang to last another year...enjoy.

It's that time again, when we get ready to say goodbye to the old year, and welcome in the new. Of course, it's a very good excuse to go out and party to some fat beats. So, we're looking back to Nexus 2010, from a year ago, to have a listen to Saynt's set. He played us out of 2009 with a sexy, funky house set that may have blurred into the fog of the night, what with all the excitement. It should bring back some good memories, and get you set for Nexus 2011, right around the corner. Dig it.

I was rockin the floor at the Plump Monarchy party, getting ready to close my set. I looked over and saw Hooni in a kind of buddha state centering himself in preparation to destroy the place! He came correct with this bangin' set of breaks and electro that had the crowd bumpin' late into the night. Ahead of his Transmorphagon Burning Man 2010 set on Friday night, he gave a little taste of what he's slingin' these days. Enjoy this juicy slice of slammin goodness! And check out our sponsor, the music portal www.theuntz.com. Join us at the next plump on September 25th! www.projectalma.org.

When Saadhu and Loomer got on the decks for their debut performance at Plump, it was 2:30am and the place was going off! It was the five year anniversary party, and people came with a little extra dollop of energy. The Plump faithful was taken aback with this banging delivery from these stalwarts of the West LA underground. Known for their long running Bass Ritual parties and residence at Area 33, this pair brings it tough. The hard funky breaks and electro that they spun for the crowd left everyone tired and eager for more. We had to extend the closing time by a half hour to satisfy the hungry crowd! Now, we have the set for you here on Radio FatFinger, to rock at your leisure. Enjoy.

On this episode of Radio FatFinger, you get another taste of a recent set I busted at Plump in Los Angeles. It was my first set in a month or so for me, and I had some pent up DJ energy to share with the crowd! So, here's a pumping electro house set that blends some spankin' fresh tracks with a few of my favorites from the past couple of years. Recorded on April 17th, 2010. Hope it brings you there.
